Matching Xbees

Ok so being a guy I went out and bought the most expensive without thinking to much about it.

I bought a

WRL-09086

XBee Pro 900 XSC

and a

XBee Pro 900 Wire Antenna

Thinking that these two could transmit signals back and forth I began playing around with sending some terminal commands

I have yet to see them talk at all even after a few days of hardcore reading.

Does anyone know if the two of these xbees will ever be friends?

Use X-CTU (http://www.digi.com/support/productdetl … tp=5&tp2=0) Update the firmware on each device, and make sure that you set them up so the settings match, Channel, Encryption, frequency, etc. Yes, they should mesh.
