I am trying to use the SparkFun Triple Axis Magnetometer Breakout - MLX90393
to track linear movement could anybody please hel me to identify a suitable magent for this?
Basically anything that generates more than a few microtesla will work…you can grab neodymium magnets from hardware stores nowadays
I assume that you’re wanting to use the magnet to calibrate the sensor…if so, it might be better to order one that has a known field strength
