Nifty combo device:

[Capacitive Sensor + [Rosco LitePad = Michael Jackson’s Sidewalk from Billie Jean Music Video

So a basically indestructible switch, only about 1/3" thick, with a fun little twist: it lights up… oh, and did I mention you can integrate it into your next project?
