Hi there,
I am starting another project built around Sparkfun MicroMod Mainboard Single + ESP32 + VR IMU + PoE Ethernet - and was wondering, if and/or when the mainboard itself is planned to reach EOL status?
I am asking because none of my usual suppliers (BerryBase, Digikey, Mouser) have single mainboards in stock (just some dual), just PiHat has just a handful left.
As you might remember, a few months ago I ran into the issue that the COM-18708 (Micromod Ethernet with PoE) went EOL around October 2025, when I just finished a large project built around it. So I had to find a PCB manufacturer to make a large amount of those.
Since I now have a source of Micromod Ethernet PoE boards, I’d like to continue with the successful path of Micromod + ESP32 + VR IMU - a great combination (and the only BNO086 IMU for hobby/consumer devices afaik)!

do you have an update for me on this matter?
I am having troubles ATM to get at least the 50 of the Micromod Mainboard Single that we need for our first batch of product (not the one I am writing about here, but the one I’ve posted a few questions in 2025 - since you took part in most of the topics, I am sure you know which product I mean).
Digikey.jp lists the Micromod Single board as “obsolete”.
In case the board will not be further produced - and since we developed a product around it (took a year of R&D and quite some financial investment) - will the schematics be made available open source in the same way as the PoE Micromod module we discussed earlier? (If not, our new product is pratically dead before we even started to mass produce).

It is not currently slated for EOL; it might be worth backordering some 
Certainly, they’re on the github for each product (if not directly under documentation, there’ll always be a link to the ‘github hardware repository’ for the product)
Similarly, here they are for the PoE
