Gee,

I keep having questions and I haven’t even got my hands on one yet (two are on backorder)

  1. The documentation states about 90K of firmware needs to be loaded into the sensor on powerup. Has this firmware been updated since the part was introduced? Is this expected in the future?

  2. If more than one unit is on a ICC bus, can the firmware be loaded simultaneously, or must each unit be done sequentially?

  3. I read that the sensor works to about 4 meters, but have not seen the resolution mentioned, how many bits for each voxel (what the datasheet calls zones) are put out?

  4. Is the ambient light for each voxel available for download?

1 - This is due to the sensor algorithm’s requirements (from ST); flash the firmware on power-up

2 - Do one at a time…flashing multiple boards/ICs on one bus is a shortcut to nightmaresville
