Hi @TLFLOW ,
I think the password corruption is actually a security feature. I see the same thing. I think it is displaying a hashed version of the password?
NTRIP works just fine, if you have it configured correctly.
Which NTRIP server / caster are you trying to use? Are you sending data to a Server, or receiving data as a Client? Have you double-checked you have entered all the server details correctly? Have you checked you are using the correct NTRIP Rev (Rev2 vs Rev1)?
I hope this helps,
Paul
i still can’t connect dbl checked all the data … I’m using V2, is that no good?
I got new pw from rtk2go, everything works as it should … but my cell signal is too weak, so i keep losing NTRIP. I have Mosaic X5 base, most of my work will be within 2 miles of the base. Is there anyway to use the LoRaSerial radios to send RTCM?
With line-of-sight it’s possible…is there a clear path to/from the 2 areas?
using torch as rover?
? You were asking about LoRa
yes is it possible to use LoRaSerial to connect torch to base
Not easily, as far as I know…read through this thread What LoRa radio to send RTK corrections to RTK Torch - #10 by TS-Russell
I missed that one of the devices was a torch, which was designed to get PPP correction data
Can I send the PPP via L5?
to be less vague can i send the correction from my base via the PPP/RTK service on the L5?
2 miles is very far for most radios including LoRaSerial. I would not recommend LoRaSerial for 2 mile transmission it unless you have large antennas and a clear line of sight.
If your site really does not have cellular reception to allow RTCM over NTRIP, you have a few options:
LoRa is not really an option. The Torch LoRa can’t pair with any available radio, so it’s essentially worthless. I’m gonna try a $60 HaLow wfi setup, i think they can do about 1/2 mile.
