I am relatively new to the electronics world. Once I have a program written to do what I want, what are the next steps to turning it into a final application?
I have my components laid out on the breadboard, but not sure what to do next.
Hello.
Have you verified your project is working correctly on the breadboard? What’s the intended outcome you’re looking for? Are you looking to test the design on a breadboard and then move on to a etched and drilled PCB?
Hello. Yes, I have verified that my code and circuit layout is correct and I now want to make it into a final product. This is the first time going through this process so I’m not sure what the next steps are.
There’s a lot to do, more than we can explain over the forums. I’d recommend getting a book named [“Make Your Own PCBs with Eagle” either from us or from a local library. That should give you a good idea what needs to be done and will walk you through the process of creating a PCB.
We also have a series of tutorials on the subject but they are not as up to date as the book above. The links below will direct you to a few of our tutorials if you’d like to have a look.
Thank you. I will check it out.
