MP3 sound player and bluetooth remote?

I did a Google search and came up with everything…minus the meaning of love and the location of the Arc

Simply put, I want to use the Arduino UNO and a MP3 shield (not sure which?) so I can remotely, via bluetooth, trigger random MP3s to play.

I’ve done some basic Arduino projects in the past and I can usually do one portion but not the other…make motors move, but not remotely, etc. :slight_smile: I’m a noob!

Can anyone offer some constructive comments on how just a project could be done? I’m just not entire sure what hardware to select, then how to make it all play nice in the IDE

I’ve found a couple tutorials on the Sparkfun site but it seems some of the parts are unavailable (https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/rn … okup-guide)

Another tutorial seems a bit dated.

So just curious what the most current piece of hardware would do the job :slight_smile:
