Multi Power source Shield for Arduino using LTC4417

Hi,

Does anybody know if the 3 sources intelligent power management chip “Prioritized PowerPath ControllerLTC-4417” was used by someone in a shield or breakout board for Arduino ?

I want to use it for a datalogger in remote North of Canada to log “permafrost” temperature down to -10 meters. I will use a mix of Solar panel, -30°C Alkaline lantern battery and -40°C Lithium-thionyl chloride primary battery to minimize size, weight and cost.

The chip will dynamically select the best source of power at any time. Very nice when we have 6 months of darkness and -40°C peek temperature. We see that a huge saving is possible on airplane transportation charge as we do not have to carry huge load of lead/acid battery and really big solar panel.

There isn’t any shields for that chip. But you can find a breakout for a specific chip size. The datasheet should show some example schematics.
