Multimeters tend to use 200mA fuses, probably in part because of range limits than device limits, but they’re hard to find. I haven’t seen any at any of the stores in town(you’d think radioshack would but they don’t). I accidentally blew a fuse in mine, since on my multimeter, having the lead plugged into the 10 amp plug and testing voltage will blow the fuse. I have 250mA fuses for a replacement but I’d prefer actual 200mA fuses to be able to replace it with.
I wouldn't worry about it - just use the 250mA fuse. Fuses are not precision devices, and there is no practical difference between the 2 current ratings. However, you should replace it with the same type (ie, slow-blow).jrisom:
