my $5,500 PCB, batchpcb problem

hi,

I just ran this design through, and apparently it is looking at the gerber files incorrectly, or the gerber files are incorrect (but I have had this board manufactured somewhere, and GC-Prevue/ViewMate like it). The board size shows up on batchpcb like this:

Custom PCB Design: tripple-eg

Custom PCB Size: 55x40(inch)

price $5,500. it is actually 5.5"x4". the top lines of a gerber file are like this:

G04 (Genere par PCBNEW 18-oct-05) le 7/11/2005-03:47:43*
G01*
G70*
G90*
%MOIN*%
G04 Gerber Fmt 3.4, Leading zero omitted, Abs format*

...
blah...
...
G04 APERTURE END LIST*
G54D10*
X55000Y00000D02*

the program is PCBNEW, part of the open source Kicad software.

Sorry about that. It’s a new format that the size script doesn’t know yet.

I’ll fix it on Sunday. Sorry for the delay!

I fixed the size script so that it parse the file type. You should now be able to submit your design. Please send me your gerbers as well (spark at sparkfun.com) so that I can continuing using it as a test zip.

Lemme know!

I’ve had a similar problem this evening, I currently have a $25,000.00

200,000x200,000" PCB sitting in my shopping cart. I use vutrax for all of my Schematic capture, PCB and gerber generation work and have had PCB’s created using it processed fine by Spark Fun before. I am more than happy to email the zip file if it will be of any use.
