NAND not detected on LPC-E2468 dev board (SOLVED)

LPC-E2468 (P/N DEV-08854) NAND flash is not detected.

I have reinstalled U-Boot using FlashMagic, still same except build date (was Oct 08 2008 now Apr 15 2008 after reboot)

Flash is HY27UF081G2M, look under microscope no solder bridge on NAND nor on CPU.

my bad or defective board ?

Board is powered by SparkFun P/N TOL-00298 (9VDC/650mA). Board did not detect NAND out of the box, board did not boot Linux out of the box.

I have loaded U-Boot supply by Olimex with Flash Magic. U-Boot still report “No NAND device found!!!”. Flash IC is HY27UF081G2M.

It seems to me that Olimex E2468 schematic has a jumper to switch NAND chip select signal among two different control lines. Is the jumper correctly suited for your case?

Yes it was.

That board was defective and as been returned to Sparkfun
