Need Advice on All Required Parts from the Website

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project to extract CAN bus data from my car (e.g., odometer, RPM, speed) and store it for analysis. The goal is to later send the data to a mobile app for car maintenance notifications.

This is my first project in the field of OBD CAN bus, and I’ve decided to use a CAN bus shield for the setup. Since I’m ordering parts from the website and paying international shipping fees, I want to make sure I get all the components I’ll need from here to avoid delays or additional costs later.

Could you please guide me on:

  1. What specific parts I’ll need to order from this website to complete the project, including any necessary connectors, cables, or additional components?
  2. Any recommendations for tools or accessories on the website that would make the setup easier for a beginner?

Thank you so much for your help—I really appreciate your advice!

I think the following will be sufficient.

  • CAN bus shield.
  • Arduino Uno.
  • OBD-II male connector or breakout cable.
  • 120-ohm resistors (2 pcs).
  • Jumper wires (male-to-male, male-to-female).
  • Breadboard.
  • USB cable for microcontroller.
  • Power supply (12V DC adapter if needed).
