Need Help to port OpenOCD to New Processor

Hi,

I would like to port openocd to a new processor. I now its not currently supported since we are still developing it.

Initially i would like to provide a basic read & write register support.

Could someone point to me or let me know where & how to start. Any Documents would be of gr8 help.

Do you mean a “custom” cpu? with a “custom” instruction set?

Or do you mean an existing CPU (like an ARM core) - in a custom “system on a chip” that you are creating?

You might get faster “developer type” answers on the openocd developer email list.
