NEO-M8P RTK with no fix

Hey all, I have been trying to implement a pair of NEO-M8P GPS units into a project that I have going and I have run into a problem with loosing the fix with the Rover unit once the Antenna is moved.

I have followed multiple tutorials and set up guides and I believe everything is set up correctly. I have a base station that is configured to send RTCM3 messages to the Rover unit using jumper wires right now using the UART1 protocol. I Survey in the base station’s position and everything runs smoothly and performs as expected. As soon as I start moving the Rover units GPS antenna while it is the RTK mode, the U-center software switches from “3D/DGNSS” to “No Fix”. I have gotten the Rover to show “3D/DGNSS/FLOAT” before but it still looses it’s fix when the antenna is moved. I feel like I am just missing something in the configuration settings? Thank you in advance for any advice to solve this problem that I have!

It sounds like you have a lose connection somewhere in your antenna feed line.

check the value you have for your Dynamic platform model (CFG-NAVSPG-DYNMODEL). If it is set to “stationary”, (like you would use for a base station) you will get this error. I believe you want your set to “portable” or “automotive”.
