NEO-M9N and NEO-F10N, difference between warmstarts

Hello,

I have a question. The F10-Receiver has a warmstart around 30 seconds. That seems like a coldstart, but a M9-Receiver has around 1 second at warmstart. Why?
The product ist SparkFun GNSS L1/L5 Breakout NEO-F10N, SMA, GPS Galileo BeiDou, USB-Seriell,

Thanks.

Seeing 17-18 s TTFF for ArduSimple NEO-F10N SPG 6.00 Warm Start, it sees signals immediately, but doesn’t give position. So assuming it’s waiting for a complete ephemeris sub-frame

Yes, I also have same TTFF, 17-18 s when it was good wheather in free sky area.
But at most time, in between of streets or in forest it is longer as usual.

There’s not a quoted Warm Start for the NEO-F10N, so I suspect it’s not implemented as before. You could perhaps Hot Start and feed aiding/initialization data by the UBX-MGA-INI methods, or dumping via UBX-MGA-DBD prior to the restart so you can prime the unit.

Some reason to be Warm rather then Hot Starting this, other than benchmarking?
