New Logomatic V2 not functioning?

Hi,

I turned on my recently purchased logomatic V2 for the first time with FAT16 formatted 1GB SD card (card was purchased with unit). (I formatted the card then checked it was indeed formatted as FAT16 with some other software that reports these things)

aplied Vin = 5V

With SD card in:

USB LED comes on continuously.

With SD card out:

USB LED comes on continuously,

stat1 and stat2 LEDs come on continuously

Plug into my computer and I can see the USB card and write to it no probs. Basically the LEDs arent flashing as described and no files created on card.

Did I get a dud card?

Did Logcon.txt appear on the card? Try 3.3V. Make sure the USB cable is not plugged into the Logomatic. Let me know if it works.

OK I tried 3.3V and it flashed at me…And wrote logcon.txt to file.

Thanks for this. Any Idea why this is so? (I didnt have the usb in while testing before - only change was the voltage).

where did you put the 5V in, hope not into the Input that says 3.3V?

I got mine to work at 5.5 od so V (4 x 1.5 accus) but end up using a power supply. Only run for 1 day on the accus.
