Hello, this is probably a stupid question but I am brand new to PCB design. I have completed a very simple PCB and submitted it to multiple websites for DFM file check including 4pcb.com and batchPCB. My issue is that the board is odd-shaped, with a rounded edge and has multiple odd-shaped holes. I am using Eagle CAD and for the board shape I use the dimension layer. For the holes I have tried both the hole layer and the dimension layer. Using the hole layer, the holes simply dont show up at all in the reviewed gerber files. Using the dimension layer, the outline of the board and the holes show up on the top copper file along with the copper traces. Does the manufacturer know that these are the dimensions of the board and holes, and not copper traces? Am I doing something wrong here? Any info on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
p.s. I have been using the sparkfun rule sheet and CAM file from the tutorial.
