i came accross that company when looking for sources for the sarantel helical antenna. and they sell the above modules to sparkfun.

SPK in taiwan is the distributor for super cheap sarantel helix’s and some cheap gps modules.

LOL. No, Jim has been great. I just remember him saying at one point that he was thinking about discontinuing the Sarantel antennas in favor of their own in-house design.
yah ive seen his own but havent tried them out…
