u know i saw a new gps module on here…like 2 weeks ago…
but now its off…
anyone know if its coming back??
it was incredibly small!!
no im not talking about the helical ones… this was before that…
it was about the size of a quarter and had a gps chip antenna… and it was made by sparkfun, i think it used the maxim frontend chip…
anyone??
did they have problems with it and pull the product?

Personally I don’t see the point of it apart from demonstrating the use of the GR10/MN1010. There are MUCH cheaper alternatives for people who want a small GPS unit.
Its the same size (actually a bit bigger) as a Lycosys LS20033 which can be had for under $22 in quantity. Plus its a lot better unit IMO.
