Old Order migration

Any information on when historical orders are going to be migrated? I can go dig things up in email, but those lack the links to the product pages. And if the products are older ones, then a search doesn’t seem to find the components without the direct link.

It’s being worked on (among other new-site challenges!); they should be migrated over soon if/when a fix is made

OK, so no timeframe? This just came up because of other site issues that appear to be causing issues, those are already emailed in. I won’t cover them here, but I really hope you guys get things sorted out soon.

Since I have you, how long does it usually take for Support to respond to emails?
I’m trying to figure out why BackOrders on the old order system were skipped over when shipping new stock. Phone support had no info except to say that backorders ship oldest first, which isn’t what happened.

Usually within 3 days, but again, there is a backlog from the switch-over…

Eh, that’s a pretty big assumption being made…they’ve been out-of-stock since 12/15, your order is from 12/23 and there are a LOT of pending backorders in front of yours (hundreds!)

I will say more are expected 1/31 (a few) and 2/10 (a bunch) and that you haven’t been ‘skipped’. Unfortunately emailing support won’t make anything go faster for now :frowning:

Well, I know of at least one order that was put in 1/18 that got shipping information Friday night. The order went in within 20 minutes of the “in stock” email that went out, so there shouldn’t be many people ahead of me if I just missed the Dec 23 stock.
When I set up my original “notify me” backorders weren’t offered on the site. As I mentioned, I put my order in 20 minutes from when I got the “in stock” email on 12/23. If there are hundreds of people in front of me, why were there orders that went in last week shipped?

But honestly, just some communications could clear it up.

Friday was before 1/18…how would you get shipping info before ordering?

the last order shown on your account is 12/23, feel free to DM your newest order number (or did you order under a different account?)…or whatever order you are most recently referencing and I can see if it actually shipped and/or why

I emailed support as soon as I got asked if I had gotten my shipping information as well.
Nothing back so far. DM on the way.

I agree with the gentleman wearing the brown derby there. But I am more interested in the return of all of my previous wish list items. Sometimes when I’d start creating an order, and then change my mind, everything not bought then, would find itself into a completely new one. And as you’d expect those were my first look-at items for a completely new order.
