Older redboard without SMD power / barrel connector - looking for part

I have two, I’m guessing older model, redboards that do not have the power / barrel connector populated. I reviewed the schematics and eagle board files and was not able to find anything helpful.

A couple of questions:

  1. Would this SMD barrel connector from Sparkfun work?

  1. Does anyone have a digikey, mouser, etc. reference for this part?

I could always supply power to Vin, but I’d really like to just populate the connector if I can.

Hi Craig.

PRT-12748 is the correct connector for the RedBoard, but from your photos, it looks like the pads you would need to solder that too are missing. Without those pads, you wouldn’t be able to make an electrical connection.
