Olimex LPC2148 prototype board is bricked

For whatever reason, the microSD card (and its SD carrier card) melted when I applied power to the board.

Now the JTAG interface is unresponsive.

I would like to save the board. Is there a way to erase flash and start fresh?

Does anyone have any insight?

Are you able to boot the board in ISP mode ? (there is a jumper for this)

If you are able to start the boot loader the JTAG will work again because it will never enter in the user code.

What you described does not sound good however.
