Hi newbie here,
I got this board [DEV-08282 I’m trying to
use uart2, but I’m wondering why there are
pullups in txd2/rxd2 pins while the manual says
these pins are not open-drain.](http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8282)
I think they are doing it so the i2c can be used out of the box and not as a UART3. I’m not an expert on the matter!
it might be, but the schematic labels the pins for use as uart.
