Onboarding Fails - LEFT AND RIGHT

First thing’s first. The default TFLite “Yes/No” detection doesn’t work. We can’t get the “No” to fire. It’s not very comforting.

Regardless, I decided to install the latest code. I was following: https://codelabs.developers.google.com/ … sorflow/#0

Firstly, it’s outdated and the “Report a mistake” link is broken. Sure… that’s not sparkfun’s fault, but I’m a bit frustrating.

Once you work through those issues, I can’t seem to get the bin to the device. I’m seeing chatter that other people have had this problem, I can’t seem to fix the problem.

I’ve tried various baud rates and installed several sets of drivers.

I’m not sure what I can do now, but I really can’t recommend that people buy/try the device if I wasn’t able to get the basic demo with walkthrough working.

I recognize the challenge. I too have the Edge board and had many difficulties to get it going. There are many posts on this forum about this topic that can help. A latest : viewtopic.php?f=153&t=51754

gantman - the original uploader tools from Ambiq are inferior in some ways to our improved versions. We recommend that you use the latest version:

Soon the TensorFlow examples will be supported in Arduino which should make it easier for you to upload code (using the even better SparkFun Variable Loader (SVL))
