I’m trying to set up my SAMD51 MicroMod and ATP carrier board as a USB host so I can plug USB keyboard and/or mouse into it. I found this USB Host library for the SAMD (https://github.com/gdsports/USB_Host_Library_SAMD) and used the example sketch MouseController.ino. The example code is provided at the bottom.
After uploading this sketch, the MicroMod is no longer detected by my PC. In fact when I plug it in, Device Manager on Windows 10 doesn’t detect anything. Is there a way to reset or bring it back to its normal mode?
In the meantime, I tried to see if the example sketch worked or not. The GND of a Pro Micro and MicroMod are connected together. The TX of the MicroMod is connected to the RX of the Pro Micro. I connected a wired mouse to the host USB connector on the ATP. The Pro Micro didn’t receive any serial message that the sketch suggested that it would receive when I moved the mouse around.
Has anyone successfully made the SAMD51 MicroMod take in USB mouse and keyboard commands with the ATP carrier board??
