MicroMod SAMD51 no com port; cannot upload CircuitPython uf2

Attempting to load CircuitPython onto MicroMod SAMD51 processor installed in an ATP carrier board. Know that carrier and USB cable are ‘good’ as they function correctly with other MicroMod cpus (RP2040, STM32, Teensy).

When I connect the ATP to the USB C - the board appears to be ‘dead’. No COM port shows (Window 10) and the SAMD51’s status led is ‘off’. Have attempted combinations of the reset/boot buttons - however nothing appears to work; and processor board’s status led remains ‘off’.

Suggestions as to how I can get the SAMD51 into bootloader mode so that I can upload the CircuitPython uf2 file?

Many thanks,

Alex

You have to hit reset button 2x quickly to enter bootloader mode…try that and see if the COM ports change https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/mi … r–drivers

Thanks - tried that multiple times. No joy.

Any other suggestions?

I have attempted double press of reset button with varying ‘delay’ however none has resulted in the processor entering bootloader mode and a COM port appearing in my Windows device manager view.

Thank you.

Alex
