Brand New SAMD51 on Main Board Single - No Status Light - Bad Processor?

What I have:
MM Main Board Single
MM SAMD51 Processor
Ethernet/PoE Function Board - W5500
Digi Xbee Explorer Regulated w Xbee3 Module (u.FL version)
ATP Carrier Board (I have one, but I decided the Main Board single would be better)

Hookup Instructions were incorrect regarding current software links, but I did install the following:
Installed Arduino IDE and all drivers included
Installed Arduino SAMD Boards (32bit ARM Cortex-M0+)
Installed SparkFun SAMD Boards (Dependency: Arduino SAMD Boards 1.81)
Selected Board > SparkFun SAMD Boards > SparkFun SAMD51 MicroMod

I then put the components together:
Mounted SAMD51 processor to Main Board, it’s absolutely seated corrected.
Mounted Ethernet Function board.
Mounted Xbee3 Module on Explorer Regulated
Connected Qwiic between Main Board and Explorer Regulated
Connected u.FL to RP-SMA pigtail
Connected Antenna to RP-SMA connector
Made absolutely sure the USB-C to USB-C cable I had would do data and power.

Connected cable between Main Board USB-C connector and laptop.

LED lights came on the Function Board, Explorer Regulated, and Main Board.
Function Board (PWR LED)
Explorer (PWR and ASSOC LEDs)
Main Board (3V3, QWC, VIN LEDs)
No LED on the Processor (STAT LED)

The board would not show up on any port in Device Manager or in Arduino IDE.

I then tried a PoE connection to the Function Board along with the USB-C connection but still couldn’t get it to show up on Port.

I tried PoE only, USB-C only. both PoE and USB-C. Nothing works.

I disassembled and left only the Main Board and the Processor and tried USB-C power/data. Still only the 3V3 and VIN LEDs.

I then tried just the MM ATP Carrier Board and the SAMD51 Processor. Same thing. Couldn’t get it to show on a port or get the STAT LED powering up.

I DID try both single and double pressing the RESET button, and I also tried the BOOT button just in case while either the Main Board or ATP Carrier Board were connected.

Do I have a bad processor?
Am I missing something here?

Thank you!

It does sound like a DoA processor; was it purchased from us? If so head over to Returns - SparkFun Electronics (contact vendor if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away

Yep! Purchased and picked up from HQ in Niwot.

I ended up grabbing an ESP32 MicroMod processor while there. Ran into some trouble and figured out you need to cut a trace on the MicroMod single board to get the Ethernet Function Board, Main Board Single, and ESP32 to work together. If that hasn’t been added to the documentation, I think it would be wise!
