PicoBuck + 10W RGB LED power supply

PicoBuck + 10W RGB LED power supply

Hi

I’m putting together a project where I’ll be driving 4 x 10W RGB LEDs (spec below) with one PicoBuck. I’ll be using all three channels on the LEDs at the same time and controlling dimming with an arduino uno or nano using PWM. I’ll naturally be using heatsinks on each LED.

My questions:

  • Can I acheive this with just one PicoBuck, if the four LED chips are connected in series (diagram attached)

  • What power supply should I be looking at using - will a regulated 24VDC 2.71A psu suffice?

  • I was looking at a heatsink with a thermal resistanceof 5.8°C/W - would this suffice?

LED specs:

voltage: red about 6,0-7,0V, green and blue about 9,0-11,0V

current: about 350mA each color

Many thanks for any advice!
