Best way to connect LED stripes to PicoBuck

I want to make some “professional” lights with high CRI, because industrial ones are very pricey, so I am going to make my own.

My plan is to make them dim-controllable via bluetooth and arduino with PWM signal.

I use 12 volts 500 mA LED lights (500 mA per half meter). Can I connect three strips in series to each channel of PicoBuck, so I get a load of 36 volts and 500 mA per channel ? I understand that this is the maximum possible load and there is no more backup capacity, which is not good.

For power supply I will use 2 amps 36 volts MeanWell or other good PS.

Can PicoBuck handle it ? Of course LEDs will be attached to the beefy heat sink.

It’s rated for up to 660mAh, so I’d lean toward saying yes…but definitely check your levels with a multimeter when it’s all hooked up and verify the voltages/current draw
