Please Help TM1640 Based RGB Matrix
I have been trying to figure a way to use this display with arduino for a few weeks now and keep hitting a brick wall, I just cannot figure this one out & could really use some help getting it figured out.
I have tried a few of the TM1640 libraries & based on the fast there are 3 TM1640 chips it makes sense that there is one for red, one for green, one for blue but how they are indidually addressed is beyond me, the datasheet is confusing ebough with just one TM1640.
If that was enough this has a non-standard 10x10 (100bit) layout, all the arduino libraries that I have found use 8x8, which throws off the whole system, but it did respond to the standard tm1640.h library and I did figure some things out,
it only requires one SCLK and one data wire, I have got it to respond & light what appeared almost random pixels using the library for the TM1640 7segment matrix, it accepted the clear screen and brightness command but I could not figure how to address the pixels grid/row or select which TM1640
I have tried over & over without success Its beyond my skills and Im ready to throw in the towel, I really need someones help with this one…Can someone PLEASE HELP!! me figure a small sketch to let me map and select a pixels & colors and write them to display, once I get an idea I should be fine, if you can please help!!!
I included some pics below, the datasheet is easy to find with a simple “tm1640 datasheet” google searh if you need it!
Please… Please Help!
thanks in advance
