Postcard RTK: Connection Delays to Emlid Caster

Hi everyone; I’d like to know if anyone has had problems connecting to the Emlid caster lately with our Sparkfun or other equipment? I’ve had issues where it wouldn’t connect and gave an error with a number on the website, and lately there’s been a significant delay, but it eventually connects. This caster has always worked quickly and reliably for me, to the point that I prefer it to RTK2go. These past few days have been problematic.
Regards, Angel

What was the number on the website? Was it something like 404, 504, etc?

Hi, I don’t remember exactly, 503 or 504. It started with 5.

The error #/type gives major clues as to the potential issues; try and grab it when you get a chance

Hello. My question was whether this had happened to other users.
Today, in particular, the caster emlid is working fine.
Perhaps they had some kind of glitch.

Hello.

There was discussion on the Emlid board indicating that users had been experiencing difficulty logging onto the caster network. Users were encouraged to make repeated attempts until successful.

Thank you for your feedback; it’s working well now.
Sometimes I tried several times to establish a connection.

It’s happening again with Caster Emlid.
It won’t let me in.
Does anyone know anything about this?

I’m using two Castera devices at the same time: Emlid and rtk2go.

rtk2go is working fine.

Matthew Please GIFJust keep trying

502 is a gateway error upstream from the device :-/ We can’t control that side of things, but here are some links with info

It seems Emlid has been malfunctioning for a few weeks now. We’ll have to wait and see.
