Powering a Qwiic Micro SAMD21E device (new)

Hello!

Okay, a revised question to ask:

I have here a Qwiic Micro SAMD21E device, and on its back are two lines they are marked with a plus sign and a negative one. Ideally a SMT based connector for the standard LiPo goes there. I am still uncomfortable soldering one of those on the back of this device. Adafruit sells a pair of JST connectors as breakouts, one switched and one plain. Is there a problem with my soldering two wires, a red insulated one, and a black insulated one to those spots, and then having the two wire ends connected as appropriately to a JST breakout, not switched of course? :?: :? Not that it matters but at the same time I am also going to populate the board’s header places as well. :!:

Are you asking if it’s fine to solder wires directly to the board? Yes, it should be fine (note the + and - are the ones that matter, the 2 unlabeled pads above that are structural)

Do note: if you accidentally hook up 2 lipos at once (header + wired JST) you’re probably going to cook a wire or battery
