Can I use a 12V 2amp power supply to power the Redboard Qwiic, then power the Easydriver motor driver by connecting VIN on Redboard to + on driver and gnd to gnd? I am trying to avoid using a battery to power the motor driver.
Thanks!

Yes, that should work just fine.
Be sure your motor is drawing less than 2A though, you need some current left over for the RedBoard.
Thank you!
Thank you Chris. Is it better to power the motor driver first then send power into the board using VIN/GND or is it better to power the board and send power to the motor driver? The motor I’m using is the ROB-09238 which has a 0.33A rating

Really doesn’t matter what order you power the Arduino and Big Easy but the VCC pin on the Big Easy is an output, not an input. The Big Easy gets all it’s power from the motor supply voltage.
