Hi,
I know I can take a Sparkfun bi-directional level shifter and solder a Qwiic adapter onto it, if I don’t mind wasting the unused channels. In fact there’s a few other possibilities for sale, but none have a Qwiic adapter.
It seems odd I can’t just buy an 5v I2C to Qwiic adapter breakout board directly from Sparkfun. At least I couldn’t find one when I searched and searched. If there already is a level shifter with a Qwiic connector already on it, can someone please provide a link to it.
I do have the Qwiic shield for a 5v Arduino, but in this case I need a level shifter for something that’s only 5v I2C and I’d like to throw an adapter in front of it and make it Qwiic compatible.
I will just solder up something, but there probably is a market for a simple pre-made Qwiic to 5V I2C adapter break-out board.
Many Thanks,
Gaston
