Professional flash and debug tool running under linux

We are searching for a flash and debug tool that runs under linux (and also under windows) for arm 7 and arm9 (and in future Cortex M and Cortex A)

We are now working with amontec jtagkey or with olimex arm-usb-ocd, but in a production context they are not usable. They aren’t reliable.

So we tried Segger J-Link, that work well under windows and it is very fast, reliable, in both flash and debug, buto no hope to make it works under linux.

We also evaluate Ronetix peedy that is fantastic, but too much expensive (more or less a couple thousand euros only for flashing limited to arm7 and arm9, no cortex and no debug features!!!)

there exist something else?

thanks

Sure,

if you have a budget there is always Lauterbach…

They are both best and the most expensive

But I wonder if Lauterbach works with gdb (say a gdb server) under linux.

Anyway, how much expensive is it? more than peedy?

thanks

Don’t know what the peedy cost, but probably…

I think you must ask a reseller what a setup that may fit your needs may cost.
