You’ve seen the wooden enclosures(partial) similar to the original MakerBot, Egg-Bot, etc. They look like laser cut thin plywood or something. Is there a name for those? Where do you get them made?

Anyone else have any ideas about a DIY method of making/cutting awesome thin pieces of wood for an enclosure?

How about thin Balsa wood cut with a razor and then coated with epoxy? It would look like wood but would have the strength of plastic.
