Question about what else I might need with the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor Development Kit

So I am brand new to this Arduino system and hardware, but I am planning/hoping to use for a project at college this semester and I wanted to see if anyone could tell me if I would need anything else to use this kit:

I am planning to do tests to establish patterns/levels of electrical activity in my arm using the kit, but I dont know if this kit will provide everything I would need to do so.

Do I need additional hardware/software, and if so can anyone tell me what those might be? Or any tips for someone new to this.
