Question regarding XBee PRO 2 series and mobile node

Hello ,

I’ve been for the past 4 month working on a project which incorporates xbee’s to send data from sensors that I’ve been using.

I’m Using a pic24fv32KA304 and 4 XBEE PRO 2 . Now My question rely on having one node moving through my mesh network… How can that affect the transmission of the data?

This node is basically my MCU with all the sensors connected sending data through the XBEE…

If I have this node moving constantly wil my mesh network still work?

If not how can I manage to build a mesh network with one node moving contantly

mesh network… DigiMesh on XBee series 1. On series 2 XBees, it’s far more complex, with ZigBee meshing. If you want to use meshing (and there are ways to use a star topology for moving nodes and avoid meshing)… you have much reading to do!!! It’s not plug-and-play.
