On https://www.sparkfun.com/qwiic#faqs you specify “You must use the same style 4-pin connector, JST or equivalent; you may not use a 5-pin or a different size connector.” but do not specify which JST connector. You should probably specify JST SH.

If you search you can find https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14417, and the “Datasheet” link there does tell you that it is the JST SH connector, but I feel like that information should be easier to find.
