Qwiic MP3 Trigger not detected as a drive.

Board: DEV-16892 Qwiic MP3 Trigger

I must be missing something :?:

Just got this in the mail today and was following the hookup guide.

I’m doing the most-basic setup.

Purchased all items from Sparkfun.

Put SD card into board, attach speaker.

When I plug the board into my computer with your red USB cable the board powers-on with a steady red LED, however It doesn’t enumerate as a drive on my computer to transfer files. I’ve tried it on both my Windows 10 x64 machine and my Linux Mint x32 laptop I use for Arduino development. Does it need a special driver that I missed somewhere?

After further examination, it looks like the SD card you sent me is defective. I pulled the SD card from my tablet and popped it in and it worked.

I tried formatting the “brand x” card for fat32 on a linux machine and it completed without any errors, but the card won’t mount.
