Hello,
This is a continuation of post: QWIIC QUAD SOLID STATE RELAY NOT ADRESSING PROPERLY at 25 August.
I received two replacement Quad SSR’s (part number: 16833) after it was determined that they (probably) had bad firmware. However when running i2cdetect on my Raspberry Pi 4 it doesn’t detect either of the two replacement relays. When I connect to an Adafruit PCT2075 temperature sensor and run i2cdetect than it is immediately detected at adress 0x37 as it should. Apperently I configured my RPi correctly and the connection between my RPi and I2C component is correctly. In short the two replacement boards have exactly the same problem, probably still bad firmware.
Thus now I have four non-functioning relay boards. Please let me know how to return them. And please send me two new replacement boards which will actually work with a Raspberry Pi 4. Please check that they work as advertised with a RPi 4.
