The hookup guide says the RTC address is 0xD2 but checking with I2C scanner shows the address is 0x69. All the other devices on the I2C buss read correctly.
What is the real address of the RTC and can it be changed.
Thanks
Bill

Hello Bill.
I believe it is 0x69 and we may have a typo in the hookup guide. I’ll get the guide updated.
Sadly, it appears that the address is not changeable in this IC.
Some systems refer to I2C addresses as a 7-bit number (0x69 in this case). Other systems refer to the address shifted left by one bit (the added LSB specifies read/write) - 0xD2 in this case. So both are correct; which one to use depends on which definition of I2C address you are talking about.
