QWIIC Speaker Amp with raspberry pi

Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered but i am new to using QWIIC and i recently purchased a SparkFun Qwiic Speaker Amp that i was origianly going to use with ARdunio, but as the project i have has already using a Raspberry pi i thought i might be able to use this directly.

My issue has been i havent found much in the way of using this amp via the PI and was hoping some one could help direct me to some pages to start me of in the right direction.

Like i say i dont know much about QWIIC, so looking for the basics for the Raspberry Pi and then controling this amp, i’m just looking at the moment for volume control via software.

Any help would be appriciated.

Some Pis have audio jacks, if yours does just use it like mentioned here https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/qw … are-hookup

If you are going to use the qwiic to control it, ensure that you enable i2c on the Pi
