Qwiicbus Daisychaining

Hi, did a search but didn’t find anything similar

I’m effectivly trying to daisy-chain Qwiicbus runs by connecting a pi via qwiicbus to a ‘hub’ of qwiicbus endpoints which are in turn then connected to sensors via qwiicbus runs
(the pi is also being powered over the vcc2 pair)

i2cdetect shows the devices connected between the pi and the first endpoint and the device connected to the 2nd endpoint but none of devices further downstream.

Hopefully this is just a terminating resistor issue and not totally unworkable as 6x qwiicbus endpoints behind the pi would make for very interesting packaging!

Any ideas?

Double check your pad settings SparkFun QwiicBus Hookup Guide - SparkFun Learn

Also check your voltage levels @ the far end to ensure voltage drop isn’t becoming an issue
Make sure pull up resistance isn’t interfering

Perhaps diagram what you’re trying to end up with…It also might help out to use midpoints instead (if possible!) in some spots

Thanks, checked voltages and while there is some drop it doesn’t seem to be the issue as I’ve tried it with a single daisychained endpoint with one low power board attached

trying to achive the below where I can have what is effectively a qwiicbus network switch
