range test with xbee in API mode

hello everybody,

i have two xbee series 2 of the Digi, linked to the PC with this board: http://www.robot-italy.com/product_i…roducts_id=742

i’m using x-ctu ad put into them firmware in API mode and tried to perform a range test, but it doesn’t work.

what’s the problem? is possible to perform a range test with API mode?

i tried also to send a packet from the coordinator to the second module (router/end device), but nothing is happen
