range test with xbee in API mode

Hello everybody

i have two Digi xbee modules, with the program x-ctu i put in them an API firmware, i would know if is possible to perform a range test with the modules in API mode, because i tried it but nothing is happen :frowning:

Read and follow the range test instructions in the X-CTU manual exactly. This is a difficult test to get to work.
