Recently purchased a CM5 lite to use as a smaller alternative to my Raspberry Pi 5. When it try to power it I get a solid dim red light and no response from the board. I am using a Waveshare Nano Base Board (B). I tried replacing this wave share board but the CM5 still will not power. I am using the same power supply as my regular pi 5 but have also tried other supplies, nothing gets the board to properly power. I believe it is faulty. I was reading online that there could be a way to reset the voltage regulator? Any ideas? If not I think it should be replaced I just ordered it. Never dropped it or anything.
Can you share a photo of the soldering?
Even better, I can provide a high res scan of it. I put it on a flatbed scanner to see if I could spot anything. All the connections look good to me
Alrighty - Was it purchased from us? If so head to Return Policy - SparkFun Electronics and reference this thread (or contact vendor similarly if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away
Yes, purchased from SparkFun. Just created a return request, thank you for the help!
