I am interested in purchasing the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 (SparkFun SKU: DEV-26124). I am wondering which silicon revision this dev board is built with. Can someone confirm if it is the A2 variant or the A4 variant? The product pictures show A2 on the IC marking, but the A4 is the newer production version of the chip that fixes various silicon issues. I am interested in buying the dev board with the A4 revision of the chip specifically.
We can check physical stock on Thursday to determine, hang tight for now 
No reply but it is highly likely it is A4 which was released over a year ago.
I ended up ordering two DEV-29127 (The RPi Pico 2 with headers) and they both have the A2 revision of the chip. Along with philfromseattle’s info, this means SparkFun’s Pico stock is guaranteed to be over a year old with outdated silicon as of August 24th, 2026 - for anyone else out there wondering the same question.
I also got word today that our current stock is A2 and we have a few hundred left; our next batch will be A4 but for now it looks like it won’t suit your needs :-/
