Rayson BTM-182 USB interfacing

Ok!! So here’s what I tried.

By connecting only Vcc (3v) and GND to the BTM, I can see a serial adaptor on my android phone. I can’t pair (obviously coz I haven’t connected anything else)

When I connected Vcc, GND, D+ and D- with a USB cable and plugged it into my computer, (I have Fedora Linux), nothing happened. lsusb didn’t show up anything. I can’t remember if it showed up on my phone. Note that Vcc was 5v now (which is USB standard)

Thankfully connecting 5v didn’t blow up the IC. I can still spot it on my android phone after the previous experiment.

So why the hell are there USB D+ and D- pins on this thing?

Did you solve your problem?

If not, use a low-drop regulator 3.3V, use 33 ohms resistors, and a 1.5K ohms resistors.
